WHAT'S NEW IN 1.2
･ Private chat! Select someone in the user list, then click the left-most button to open a private chat with the selected person. To invite someone to an existing private chat, drag & drop them into the user list on the private chat window of your choice. Requires new server.
･ Support for SOCKS4 firewalls (see Advanced tab in Options window). If your firewall is SOCKS5, it will most likely work anyway (it should be backward compatible). Try it.
･ Option-click disconnect button to disconnect and BAN users (requires new server).
･ Option-command-drag (like in the MacOS 8 finder) to make file/folder aliases (requires new server).
･ Drag and drop to the Finder to download a file. As in previous versions, you can also drag and drop into Hotline to upload a file.
･ Drag and drop into and within text boxes now works. As in previous versions, you can also drag and drop out of text boxes.
･ Bigger send private message window.
･ Improved performance on high-speed connections. If you want to experiment, hit control-F12, type "sndbuf" in the top box, and a size in kilobytes in the second box. The default is 50. Higher values may or may not result in increased performance (only on high-speed connections) for uploading files. This does NOT affect downloads, only uploads.
･ If you show a popup menu, and then click somewhere outside of it, the popup menu will now hide as expected (previously it would stay open until you selected an item or clicked the popup button again).
･ Addresses entered into the tracker address box are now cleaned up (spaces, carriage returns, multiple lines etc are removed). Some people were pasting rubbish into the box and then wondering why the tracker didn't work.
･ In Connect window, "Name:" changed to "Login:" because some people entered their own name, rather than the login for an account.
･ Nicer finder icon. You might need to rebuild your desktop to see it.
･ Option-double-click a folder to open it up into the same window. Option-command-up-arrow opens the parent folder into the same window.
･ Now works correctly with servers on non-standard ports. Tracker list also recognizes servers on non-standard ports.
･ Connecting to address "0" is a shortcut for connecting to address "127.0.0.1" (localhost). Convenient if you want to connect to a server on the same machine.
･ Fixed redraw problem that occured when the resolution of the screen was changed causing windows to be "pushed" (moved) on screen.
